How Carbide Burrs Work
Carbide burrs are rotating cutting tools used to remove material and shape workpieces with precision. They work by shaving off fine particles through their sharp flutes, allowing for detailed shaping and surface finishing. With high tungsten carbide hardness, these burrs can handle tough materials like metal, wood, and plastics. Controlled RPM and feed rate enhance precision, while compatibility with die grinders and CNC tools ensures versatile application.
Safety Guidelines
Wear eye protection: Always protect your eyes from debris.
Secure your workpiece: Ensure the workpiece is stable and secure.
Avoid excessive force: Let the tool do the work to prevent accidents.
Handle with care: Manage sharp edges with caution.
Switch off when not in use: Disconnect power to prevent accidents.
Always ensure your carbide burrs are used at the recommended RPM and keep pressure light to avoid tool and material damage. Utilize coolant when working with metal for longer tool life and cleaner cuts.
